This Policy explains what WinePop collects and how it's used.
What we collect
- Email (optional). If you join the waitlist, we collect your email to notify you about the relevant product launch.
- Payment & orders. Purchases and pre-orders are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details. For physical orders you provide a shipping address, which we use only to fulfill and ship your order. Stripe gives us a transaction ID and your email address for the receipt.
- Local storage. Your shopping list and saved pairings are kept in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device unless you choose to share/copy them.
- Anonymous analytics. Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) for security and performance. We do not use third-party tracking pixels.
How we use it
- To process, fulfill, and ship any order or pre-order you place.
- To send the launch announcement you signed up for (and nothing else without your consent).
- To keep the Site running and prevent abuse.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you click a "Buy" button (Wine.com) or "Amazon" button, you are sent to that retailer's site. They have their own privacy practices. Amazon and the affiliate network receive a tracking code so WinePop is credited for the referral; they do not give us your personal information.
Cookies
We don't use marketing cookies. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout page to process your payment securely.
Email
If you give us your email, we'll only use it to send the announcement you signed up for. You can ask us to delete it at any time. We never sell or rent email lists.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any data we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@thewinepop.com.
Children
WinePop is for adults of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this Policy, the "Last updated" date will change. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page.
